西元2060年，該是媽祖身邊輔佐神之一的順風耳，與搭檔千里眼來到人間阻止異獸肆虐及禍害人間，本應順利成功擊退異獸並保住神仙同伴，卻因順風耳的自大傲慢，造成三名無辜人類死亡。而被一心為眾生的媽祖責備，在人與神之間抉擇，雙方觀念差異極大，眼見媽祖始終無法理解，憤而離廟，大膽決定前往人類所創造出來的虛擬世界——「幻界」。一座巨大的高塔，塔裡充滿高科技與極其龐大運算電腦設備，其所創建出來的「幻界」，提供人們得以將意識連結其中，在裡面交友、享樂、探險、生活、賺錢、甚至醫療，造就了真實與虛擬難以辨識的世界，這種嶄新的生活方式，如此大量的人類意念在此集中，也讓某些「落難神明」嘗試前往其中，也正是我們這個故事的開端。

In the year 2060, Shunfeng'er, one of Mazu's divine assistants, along with his partner Qianliyan, descends to the human world to stop rampaging mythical beasts from causing havoc. While they were supposed to easily defeat the creatures and save their fellow deities, Shunfeng'er’s arrogance led to the deaths of three innocent humans. Mazu, who prioritizes the well-being of all living beings, reprimands him. Caught between the expectations of gods and humans, the ideological gap widens. Frustrated by Mazu’s lack of understanding, Shunfeng'er leaves the temple and boldly enters the human-created virtual world known as "Illusion Realm."

This towering, technologically advanced structure is filled with immense computational power, creating a virtual space where people can connect their consciousness to socialize, enjoy entertainment, explore, live, work, and even receive medical care. With the line between reality and virtual existence blurred, some "fallen gods" have also sought refuge there—this is where our story begins.
